Bluetooth streaming and assistive listening for CI users

Modern CI processors stream phone calls, music and TV audio directly via Bluetooth. Roger / FM systems offer further benefit in noise and at distance.

Direct streaming significantly improves intelligibility in everyday life — phone calls, watching TV, online meetings, audio messages — because the signal bypasses room noise. Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast™ (now appearing in venues internationally) will extend this to public spaces like airports, theatres and conference halls. Roger / FM mics improve speech-in-noise hearing for classrooms, restaurants, lectures and large meetings.
