Tele-mapping and remote care for CI users
Tele-mapping lets audiologists adjust your CI program remotely via a video call. This is especially useful for adults living far from CI centres.
All three major manufacturers offer some form of remote-care platform. After in-person setup, many follow-up mapping sessions can be done from home with a stable internet connection. The audiologist sends programs to the processor and verifies responses through the app.
Remote care reduces travel, increases follow-up adherence and is becoming a standard part of adult CI service in India.
